Position: Exploration Geologist Role
Hudbay Minerals is seeking a Senior Geologist in Toronto to enhance its exploration efforts and increase mining reserves. Utilize your expertise in GIS and geological environments to add value to the company.

In this senior role, you will engage deeply in geological modeling, validation, and evaluating technical exploration projects. Your contributions will guide project teams to ensure adherence to best practices while providing geological reviews during evaluations and project developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geological modeling and validation projects

• Introduce best practices for exploration

• Review geological aspects for M&A evaluations

• Regularly update the team on progress

• Complete fieldwork per Hudbay's safety protocols

Requirements:

• 10+ years of mining exploration experience

• Professional registration or eligibility

• University degree; advanced degree is advantageous

• Fluent in English;
Spanish preferred

• Strong technical proficiency in diverse geological settings
