As a Project Scientist, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers and contribute to various environmental assessments in schools and institutional settings. Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits, sampling drinking water, and evaluating hazardous materials. With a focus on flexibility and technical expertise, you may also need to perform after-hours work to meet project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform hazardous materials and drinking water assessments
• Execute fieldwork and sampling in compliance with protocols
• Coordinate with Project Managers and subcontractors
• Support multiple projects while adhering to budgets and timelines
• Conduct after-hours field investigations as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field
• 2-3 years of environmental consulting experience
• Strong knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations
• Proficient in AutoCAD for technical documentation
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle access
