The position requires a completed Master's degree in Forensic Chemistry or a related field, as you'll play a crucial role in providing academic support within the Forensic Science Specialist program. Responsibilities include reviewing research proposals, conducting interviews, and fostering student development in the forensic sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and assess ethics applications from students
• Offer feedback on research proposals on submitted projects
• Conduct mock interviews for student presentations
• Guide students in developing professionalism in forensic science
• Provide timely communication and mentorship for inquiries
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Forensic Chemistry or relevant field
• Extensive research background and knowledge of UTM ethics
• Excellent communication and student support skills
• Ability to attend relevant classes and provide academic guidance
• Passion for scientific research and project management
Contribute meaningfully to educational experiences at UofT Mississauga in the field of forensic science.
