SSR Mining Exploration Geologist Role

Join SSR Mining's exploration team as an Exploration Geologist, focused on Au-Cu projects across North America. Engage in field activities, geological mapping, and collaborative reporting while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

In this role, you will report to the Manager of Canada Exploration. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing drilling operations, geological logging, and ensuring quality assurance in all exploration activities. Your work will be key to maintaining operational excellence and safe drilling practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological field mapping and evaluations

• Manage drilling program implementation and safety

• Log geological data from drill cores accurately

• Interpret and summarize assay results for reporting

• Update and maintain GIS systems with ArcPRO

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology needed

• Minimum 3-5 years in exploration required

• Strong communication skills in English vital

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Leapfrog software

• Willingness to travel for fieldwork required
