As a Project Exploration Geologist with Kinross, you will leverage your 2-4 years of experience to assist in planning and executing critical exploration programs. This role combines fieldwork with office responsibilities, including logistical management and database maintenance. A
B.Sc. in Geology and eligibility for Professional Geologist designation is required, along with a willingness to travel frequently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and oversee property scale exploration initiatives
• Manage logistics and coordinate contractors in the field
• Implement QAQC standards for geological work
• Draft maps and generate technical reports
• Assist in the evaluation and planning of exploration data
Requirements:
• Minimum
B.Sc. degree in Geology
• Eligible for a Professional Geologist designation
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in mining
• Strong skills in GIS software
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
