Drive exploration success as a Database and GIS Geologist for Blue Moon Metals. Manage geological data integrity remotely or in a hybrid role based in Canada or the USA.
As a Geological Database & GIS Specialist, you will lead geological management activities supporting Special Projects under the General Manager. You will collaborate with geology and engineering teams to maintain accurate datasets, oversee QA/QC processes, and ensure seamless access to data. This role combines technical expertise and effective communication in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage geological database and GIS systems for project needs
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity across multiple datasets
• Implement QA/QC procedures adhering to NI 43-101 standards
• Provide geological data support to technical teams
• Prepare comprehensible maps and technical materials
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, GIS, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geological data management
• Proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS Pro
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills
