Position: Senior Environmental Planner at WSP
Transform communities as a Senior Environmental Planner with WSP, guiding impactful assessments in nuclear, renewable energy, and transportation sectors. This role emphasizes independent and collaborative work in regulatory processes.

As an Environmental Planner, you will lead and support multidisciplinary projects across Ontario. Your expertise with the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act and the federal Impact Assessment Act will be crucial in delivering comprehensive technical studies and regulatory documentation. You'll work closely with teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support environmental planning for diverse infrastructure projects

• Produce technical studies and impact assessments

• Write and edit environmental assessment reports clearly

• Facilitate project meetings for stakeholder engagement

• Evaluate proposals and assist in project documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in environmental studies or related field

• 4+ years navigating regulatory processes in Ontario

• Strong understanding of environmental assessment legislation

• Proven ability to manage complex projects

• Experience preparing project scopes, budgets, and schedules
