We are currently seeking Heavy Duty Trailer/Tractor Mechanics to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.

Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, this role involves routine maintenance on our Tractor fleet.

• Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing
• Complete electrical, interior, air brake system, tire, body repairs, and welding as required
• Facilitate safety inspections
• Repair or replace equipment when appropriate
• Assess equipment to determine if it requires repair or needs to be sent out
• Identify and report faults or malfunctions on all company equipment
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and the terminal to prioritize repairs

• Red Seal certification or apprenticeship at any level, or willingness to enroll in an apprenticeship program
• High school diploma with at least 2 years of experience
• Basic set of hand tools
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Work ethic capable of working independently and in a team
• Experience with a wide range of tools and familiarity with vehicle diagnostic equipment
• Experience in preventative maintenance including electrical, interior, air brake, tire, and body repairs
