Reporting to the Construction Supervisor, the Machine Operator/Labourer will be responsible for performing numerous tasks involving the operation of civil construction equipment. This includes operating a dump truck, mini excavator, tampers, rollers, quick‑cut saws, and generators/pumps. As our construction needs vary, the ideal candidate will be able to support our directional boring crews while performing various duties such as splicing installed conduits, installing handwells, and completing restoration tasks.

• Dump trucks/dump trailers
• Rollers
• Quick‑cut saws
• Generators and pumps
• Tampers/compactors
• Support directional boring crews with various on‑site tasks
• Splice conduits installed during the bore process
• Install Handwells/Cable Camber as required by the job scope
• Perform site restoration tasks to return areas to original condition
• Rod, roping, proofing conduits and occasionally pulling cable
• Shop duties, recycling duties, vehicle upkeep and any other general labourer duties

• Valid ARZ and AZ Driver’s License with a clean CVOR and driver’s abstract
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a mini excavator and dump truck combo
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Book 7 and the ability to set up a safe and compliant work zone
