Position: Building Operator at Equans

This role is crucial for the Facilities Management team, requiring extensive knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle a varied workload effectively while maintaining safety and compliance. Shift work, including nights and holidays, is a necessity to meet the facility's 24/7 demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and repair critical facility systems including HVAC and plumbing

• Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM)

• Monitor equipment using the Building Automation System (BAS)

• Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate records

• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold safety protocols

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in Canada

• Minimum five years experience in building system maintenance

• BES Class I & II Certification preferred

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Ability to interpret HVAC drawings and schematics
