Appliance Technician Independent Contractor

Overview

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Appliance Service Technician Contractors. No prior experience is required—full training will be provided until you are comfortable and confident working independently.

• Diagnose and repair major household appliances (fridges, stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc.)
• Provide skilled customer service in clients’ homes
• Track completed jobs and maintain accurate records
• Safely handle tools, parts, and refrigerants (where applicable)

• Willingness to learn and complete training until proficient
• Must supply your own tools and vehicle
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Smartphone with data plan for job scheduling and communication
• Must be willing to register and maintain an HST number (required for contractors)
• Criminal record check required (performed by us at no cost)

• Paid per completed job (not hourly or daily)
• Gas allowance provided
• Adaptable schedule—workload can be tailored to availability
• Hands-on industry training at no cost

• Self-motivated and reliable
• Mechanically inclined (preferred, but not required)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently once trained
