Electrician Apprentice

Doyou have some welding experience? If so, we have an excellent opportunity to startyour career as an Electrician apprentice. Electricians prepare, assemble, install, test,troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in all types of buildings and other structures. You will workon various job sites and industries. The ideal candidate has some welding experience,mental dexterity, mechanical aptitude, the ability to problem-solve and thinksequentially and has experience with lifting heavy materials, climbing,bending, and kneeling.

What the job includes:

• Installing and repairing lighting fixtures and equipment, including switches and circuit breakers.
• Connectingpower to communications equipment, signaling devices and heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshooting electronic systems and replacing faulty components.
• Conductingpreventive maintenance programs.

What we need from you:

• Willingness to learn
• Construction Experience is an asset
• Must have grade 12
