GFL is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and service its fleet, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Bring your expertise in diesel engines and electrical systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, your tasks will include using diagnostic software and maintaining accurate records of repairs while following safety protocols. You will also service both gas and electrically operated vehicles, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain heavy-duty diesel and CNG vehicles
• Complete reports and order parts as needed
• Plan repairs in the M5 planner and manage inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
• Valid 310T License and clean Ontario “G” driver’s license
• Own tools required for position
• Computer literate and willing to learn software systems
• Strong ability to communicate and work independently
• Physical capability to perform all maintenance tasks
