Licensed Diesel Mechanic; Prevost Buses

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Diesel Mechanic to join our team, providing expert maintenance and repair services for Prevost Motorcoaches and various Non-revenue vehicles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with diesel engines, working on Prevost coach buses, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and Prevost Buses
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs using schematics and technical manuals
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to complete tasks efficiently
• Operate heavy machinery for testing and troubleshooting purposes
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during heavy lifting and equipment operation
• Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals for precise repairs
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed
• Assist in assembly or disassembly of industrial equipment as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and solutions clearly to clients or team members

• Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles or equipment
• Hands-on experience with buses, HVAC systems, welding, electrical systems, and farm machinery
• Familiarity with schematics, industrial equipment maintenance, and assembly processes
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
• Experience in automotive repair or industrial maintenance is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship

$250.00-$600.00 per day
