As a leader within the Ecological Services team, you will ensure comprehensive management of all arboricultural elements associated with infrastructure development. Your responsibilities will include conducting health assessments, preparing reports for regulatory approvals, and overseeing interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead comprehensive tree inventory field programs
• Conduct Butternut Health Assessments in compliance with guidelines
• Develop seed collection initiatives and planting stock management
• Compile arborist reports for tree removal processes
• Collaborate on protection and restoration plans with design teams
Requirements:
• Over 5 years as a consulting arborist in Ontario
• Required ISA Certified Arborist designation
• Essential Butternut Health Assessor certification
• Experience preparing tree removal plans for projects
• Excellent communication skills for public and regulatory engagement
