Underground Mining Equipment Technician

Join our dedicated team as an Underground Mining Equipment Technician, operating mainly in Quebec, Nunavut, and Ontario.

Your role involves meticulous inspection and repair of critical mining machinery.

We are looking for a technician with at least five years of extensive experience in underground mining equipment. Your main duties will include diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and commissioning new systems. Bilingual skills in French and English will enhance communication and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions

• Repair or replace defective parts to meet specifications

• Perform tests on equipment to verify performance

• Create accurate reports on technical issues

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in mechanical/electrical fields

• Five years related experience with mining equipment

• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Experience with Sandvik equipment preferred

• Valid driver's license and flexibility for travel
