Position: Journeyman HVAC Mechanic - Greater

In this key role, you will serve as a Journeyman HVAC Mechanic, addressing maintenance requests primarily at Humber River Hospital and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital. You will work mainly independently while coordinating with facility maintenance teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. A proven track record in facility maintenance and a strong customer service orientation is crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough maintenance of building HVAC systems

• Respond to on-demand service calls efficiently

• Keep records of repairs and maintenance activities

• Monitor and inspect facility equipment for optimal performance

• Support collaboration with subcontractors for repairs

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyperson HVAC Mechanic under Ontario 313A

• G2 Gas Technician License (G1 preferred)

• Over 5 years of experience in facility maintenance

• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
