Newmont seeks accomplished Underground Welders to join their team in northern British Columbia. Successful candidates will have Red Seal certification and significant underground mining experience. A commitment to safety and effective communication within a collaborative setting is essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations based on job specifications

• Operate mobile mining drills, trucks, and scoops

• Work effectively in tight and challenging underground spaces

• Uphold strict safety standards throughout the work process

• Participate in rotational 12-hour shifts remotely

Requirements:

• Red Seal Welder certification is required

• Proven history in underground mining experience necessary

• Familiarity with mobile mining machinery is essential

• Strong focus on safety practices and compliance

• Valid driver’s license is required for site access
