Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CIPP Cutter Operator to join our team in performing trenchless sewer and storm line rehabilitation and repair. The operator is responsible for conducting CCTV inspections, assisting with CIPP lining installations, robotically reinstating sewer service laterals, and maintaining equipment for CIPP operations. The role requires flexibility to travel to project sites, with per diem and accommodations provided.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Perform routine CCTV/CIPP lining operations on various types of pipes including sewer, waste water, and storm lines.
  • Comply with company safety policies, procedures, equipment safety specifications, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Support line cleaning, CIPP liner installation, and the robotic reinstatement of sewer service laterals.
  • Assist crew with collective tasks; install site preparation, line installation, and cleanup of site as directed by Foreman.
  • Set up and maintain the CCTV/CIPP equipment.
  • Work in outdoor field conditions in all ranges of weather and temperature.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Proficient in driving the boiler truck/tractor‑trailer.
  • At least one year of experience with POSM, CUEs Kangaroo Cutters, Trytek Cutters, Schwemm Cutters.
  • Must be able to conduct physically strenuous work, work in confined spaces and all types of weather.
  • Be able to work independently, handle problems, and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge in confined space entry, CIPP lining, and construction safety.
  • Ability to read and comprehend maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
  • Ability to comprehend instruction and perform tasks independently of direct supervision regarding safety procedures, equipment use, maintenance, installation techniques, and mobilization of crew to the work site.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with all units of measure.
  • Flexibility within working hours and days. Must be able to travel regularly.
