The TTC is seeking three apprentices to join their Signals/Electrical/Communication department. As an apprentice, you will participate in a robust 8,000-hour training program while performing varied electrical maintenance work. You will be trained in crucial safety practices, undergo electrical aptitude testing, and ensure compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete an extensive 8,000-hour training program
• Perform installation and maintenance of A.C. and D.C. systems
• Successfully pass the TTC electrical aptitude test
• Acquire necessary electrical training certifications
• Treat passengers and employees with dignity and respect
Requirements:
• Valid Province of Ontario Class G driver’s license
• Grade 12 graduation or equivalent technical program
• Registered Apprentice or Licensed Electrician 309-A preferred
• Comprehension of Ontario Human Rights Code
• Willingness to complete various in-house training programs
