Become a Program Trade Manager with Support Ontario Youth, focusing on skilled trades and apprenticeship pathways. Foster employer engagement and mentor the next generation of skilled workers.
Reporting to the Director of Workforce Development, you will be responsible for enhancing employer-apprentice relationships while facilitating their successful onboarding into apprenticeships.
Your role includes representing SOY at industry events and developing collaborations that expand apprenticeship access.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain relationships within SOY’s Group Sponsorship program
• Onboard and mentor new apprentices and employers
• Assess and meet employer workforce needs
• Represent the organization at events and workshops
• Oversee program performance and tracking
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge or experience in apprenticeship systems
• 3–5 years in recruitment or relationship management
• A valid G Driver’s license and personal vehicle
• Willingness to travel as duties require
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs independently
Lead the charge in developing skilled trades and influencing apprenticeship success with Support Ontario Youth.
