Position: GFL Diesel Mechanic for Fleet Services
Join GFL as a Diesel Mechanic, responsible for servicing heavy-duty diesel and CNG vehicles, ensuring safe operations. Utilize your expertise in diesel engines and electrical systems to maintain a dependable fleet.

In this crucial role, GFL is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair its fleet, ensuring high safety standards. You will diagnose issues, use diagnostic software, and manage parts inventory effectively. Your responsibilities also extend to servicing gas and electric vehicles while prioritizing safety protocols and clean work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain heavy-duty diesel and CNG vehicles

• Complete reports and order parts as necessary

• Plan repairs using the M5 planner and manage inventory

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations at all times

• Maintain a clean and secure work area

Requirements:

• Valid 310T License and Ontario “G” driver’s license

• Own tools necessary for the position

• Proficient with computers and software systems

• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently

• Physically capable of performing all maintenance tasks
