310t Licensed Mechanic

First Student is now hiring a 310T Licensed Mechanic to join our shop in Toronto, Ontario.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you’ll help ensure the safety and reliability of our iconic yellow school buses, making a real difference in your community every day.

• $44.96/hour based on experience and qualifications (not flat‑rate)
• $0.25/hour ASE bonus for each relevant certification (we cover training materials and exam fees)
• Monday to Friday schedule, no weekends

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on brakes, suspensions, drive trains, and transmissions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Complete work orders and documentation
• Assist with mobile emergency repairs as needed

• Hold a valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license
• Have experience with diesel, automotive, and electric vehicles
• Own a complete set of mechanic tools
• Be safety‑focused and eager to grow your skills through ASE testing
