Elevate security services with Toronto Community Housing as a Building Security Systems Technician. Leverage your expertise to install, maintain, and improve building security systems across Toronto.
In this role, you'll be integral to enhancing the safety of communities, responsible for installations, preventative maintenance, and addressing issues with security systems. The position requires collaboration with IT and external providers for effective project delivery. Your efforts will directly impact the safety and satisfaction of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve building security system issues
• Install and maintain security equipment and programs
• Monitor and test system effectiveness regularly
• Collaborate on maintenance work orders and capital projects
• Assist in evaluating contractor work quality
Requirements:
• High school diploma; post-secondary education preferred
• 3 years of experience in electronic security systems
• Familiarity with Ontario Safety Codes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD is a plus
• Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle
