This journeyperson position plays a vital role in maintaining Toronto Hydro's electrical systems. As part of the Grid Response Team, you will respond to outages, perform installations and repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Shift work is required, including potential overtime, as you contribute to emergency response efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to outages and emergency calls effectively

• Maintain overhead and underground electrical systems

• Execute switching operations and isolation procedures safely

• Inspect line equipment and maintain accurate records

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Powerline Technician (PLT) certification

• 5 years of electrical distribution experience

• Class 4 Rubber Glove certification

• Class DZ Driver's license

• Up to date Working at Heights Certification
