Coach Technician Apprentice - TTC

TTC is currently seeking ten Coach and Automotive Apprentices within its Bus Maintenance and Shops department.

This role offers a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week and includes various shifts. As an apprentice, you will work closely with licensed technicians on critical automotive functions like diesel fuel injection and suspension systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in a comprehensive 4-level apprenticeship over 3-4 years

• Assist licensed technicians in vehicle repairs and maintenance

• Learn to operate diagnostic equipment and perform inspections

• Engage in respecting workplace diversity and inclusion

• Familiarize with all aspects of bus garage operations

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent relevant studies

• Valid, non-probationary Ontario Class G driver’s license

• Ability to complete in-house TTC training

• Supply your own hand tools as listed

• Valid work permitt for license renewal requirements
