Field Power Technician Position

Join our Toronto team as a Field Power Technician 2, focusing on diesel engines and generators. This position offers flexibility with local travel using a company vehicle.

This role involves hands-on work in preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of diesel power generators and electrical distribution systems. You'll be responsible for operating equipment both at the shop and on customer sites, ensuring compliance with specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on diesel-powered equipment and power generators

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures on various job sites

• Commission both canopy generators and containerized models

• Drive company vehicle to service multiple locations daily

• Work independently or within a team to complete tasks

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cummins generators

• Must have Journeyman HET or Electrician credentials

• Skills in reading schematics and load calculations

• Must possess a valid driver's license and lift 75 lbs
