This position requires a thorough understanding of avionics systems, with responsibilities including installation, troubleshooting, and compliance inspections. You will need to interpret engineering drawings and adhere to standards set by Transport Canada and the FAA while also assisting in minor aircraft interior enhancements as necessary. Ensure high-quality workmanship in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install wiring for avionics and navigation systems

• Interpret engineering and installation manuals effectively

• Remove and re-install aircraft interiors when needed

• Certify avionics installations for compliance and safety

• Inspect components to meet airworthiness and quality standards

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or degree in Avionics or equivalent

• 2 years of hands-on experience with electrical systems

• Must hold an Avionics 'E' license; M1/M2 considered a plus

• Complete full YYZ AVOP and RAIC within initial months

• Capability to lift 32 lbs over head
