Join the TTC as a Formwork Carpenter in a night shift position focused on structural woodwork and construction. Bring your skills in concrete forms and carpentry to our dedicated team.
The TTC is looking for a qualified Formwork Carpenter to repair and maintain various structures. You will work on projects involving concrete workflows, shoring, and cleaning, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have strong carpentry skills and experience in construction tasks related to bridges and tunnels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and repair woodwork for infrastructure projects
• Perform routine maintenance on bridge and tunnel structures
• Execute tasks like core drilling and concrete repairs
• Maintain compliance with respiratory protection standards
• Ensure accommodations for persons with disabilities
Requirements:
• Valid General Carpenter Certification (403‑A)
• At least 12 months of relevant construction experience
• Current Ontario class 'G' driver’s license
• Completion of Carpentry apprenticeship training
• Knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code
