Join the Grid Response Team at Toronto Hydro as a Journeyperson Powerline Technician, focusing on electrical distribution safety and reliability. This role includes addressing outages, performing vital repairs, and executing maintenance efficiently.

As a crucial member of the team, you will report to the Senior Foreperson and contribute to maintaining the integrity of electrical systems during both routine and emergency situations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in troubleshooting and restoration while working shifts, including overtime, to minimize service interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to system outages and emergency calls

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems

• Conduct safety-compliant switching operations

• Inspect and maintain line equipment accurately

• Document work performed and materials used

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification

• 5 years of electrical distribution experience

• Class 4 Rubber Glove experience

• Class DZ Driver's license

• Working at Heights Certification
