As a Service Plumber, you will install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. You will be responsible for ensuring efficiency and productivity levels while complying with regulatory codes.
What You’ll Do- Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and explaining all problems and options to the clients.
- Collaborating with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
- Responding to, diagnosing, and resolving plumbing emergencies.
- Following building plans and blueprints.
- Performing routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Preparing budgets and cost estimates.
- Keeping accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
- Training apprentices and helpers.
- Performing all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations.
- Adhering to all federal, provincial, municipal and city plumbing codes.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- A Licensed Plumber with 2-3 years of experience.
- Experience with Residential Plumbing work is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work together as part of a team alongside other technicians (e.g., electricians, framers, etc.).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
- Valid G driving license and clean driving record.
- Ability to be available on call during weekends and on holidays as required.

The appointed candidate annual salary range is $70,000 - $110,000.
