You will be a vital part of the Global News Toronto team, reporting to the Manager of Broadcast Operations.
Your role will include operating advanced studio systems and ensuring high-quality news delivery. Flexibility for various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential in this fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in operating the MOSART automated control system
• Manage Maestro and ORAD virtual set control operations
• Operate robotic cameras in live and virtual studio settings
• Conduct technical setup and routine equipment checks
• Perform quality control assessments on programming
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Broadcast Technology or related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a network control room
• Familiarity with newsroom systems like ENPS and XPression
• Strong technical knowledge of audio, video, and graphics systems
• Effective communication and multitasking skills
