Become a Building Systems Engineer with JLL in San Jose, CA, focusing on the maintenance and management of essential building systems. This Local 39 union role ensures the reliability and safety of operations.
In this position, you will operate and maintain a variety of building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, and electrical components. Your work will include troubleshooting complex systems while adhering to all safety regulations and codes. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate all boilers, pumps, and HVAC units
• Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Manage life safety equipment and compliance testing
• Control inventory for maintenance supplies
• Maintain standards in equipment room cleanliness
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering
• Valid stationary engineer license required
• Need for EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
• In-depth know-how of building systems
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
