HVAC-R Apprentice

Position: HVAC-R Apprentice in Greater
Become an HVAC-R Apprentice at Carrier Commercial Services, delivering exceptional comfort to customers across the Greater Toronto Area. Work under the guidance of a journeyperson and be part of Local 787 Union.

This Apprentice role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and inventory management for HVAC equipment. You will gain experience working independently and collaboratively on-site while assisting in the maintenance of chillers, boilers, and other HVAC systems. Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills are vital for success in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems

• Assist with minor repairs on unitary equipment

• Verify completion of maintenance work orders

• Manage inventory and deliver necessary parts

• Uphold safety and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Gas Fitter Level 3 License

• Valid G-Class Driver’s License

• Membership or eligibility for Local 787 Union

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
