As a Level 1 Mechanic at Sunbelt Rentals, you will focus on preventive maintenance and repairs for aerial work platforms, generators, and HVAC systems. Candidates with 1-3 years of technician experience on diesel and construction equipment are encouraged to apply. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to various job requirements and using specialized tools safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance on heavy construction and specialty equipment

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems effectively

• Safely handle lifting tasks up to 50 lbs and use trade tools

• Adapt to changing priorities in varied environments

• Work indoors or outdoors as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred

• 1-3 years technician experience with heavy equipment

• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical fundamentals

• Physical capability for lifting and equipment handling

• Bilingual Spanish may be needed based on location
