Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician with 2 to 3 years of mechanical experience. In this role, you will inspect, service, and maintain a variety of earth-moving and aerial equipment. You will also mentor new hires while ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and contribute to documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain a diverse fleet of construction machinery

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs

• Test equipment post-repair for optimal performance

• Mentor apprentices and support new team members

• Maintain documentation of inspections and work orders

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of mechanical experience required

• Valid Class G driver’s license with good abstract

• Must have own tools for the job

• Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and computer applications
