Experienced Powerline Technician Hydro

Become a key player in Toronto Hydro's Grid Response Team as an Experienced Powerline Technician. Focus on enhancing electrical distribution systems while managing outages and conducting repairs efficiently.

In this role reporting to the Senior Foreperson, you will ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical network. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated professionals, comfortable with shift work and dedicated to adhering to safety standards during both emergency and routine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency outages and alarms swiftly

• Maintain and repair overhead and underground systems

• Execute safety-oriented switching operations

• Inspect line equipment and maintain records

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification

• 5 years of electrical distribution experience

• Class 4 Rubber Glove knowledge

• Class DZ Driver's license required

• Up-to-date Working at Heights Certification
