BGIS seeks an experienced Journeyperson Plumber with at least 5 years in facility systems management. Join our team to ensure facility integrity through proactive plumbing maintenance and upgrades.
As a Journeyperson Plumber, you'll bring your expertise to BGIS, where compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards is paramount.
Your role will involve executing preventative and corrective maintenance as well as ensuring compliance with building codes. You will work with both mechanical and electrical systems in various facilities, all while supporting client operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Determine piping system requirements and optimize pipe sizing
• Install, replace, and repair plumbing fixtures and equipment
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance inspections
• Maintain inventory of tools and arrange repairs as needed
• Provide client recommendations for plumbing improvements
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyman level Plumbing license
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a licensed Plumber
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety standards
• Effective communication and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work on-call and respond to emergencies
