Job Location

Purpose: The Sound & Light Technician is responsible for setting up and operating technical equipment at events and theatre productions.

Education: Must be enrolled as a York student.

Experience: Previous work experience may be considered.

• 1. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
• 2. Ability to interpret and apply best practices, policies and procedures.
• 3. Ability to collaborate and work with others to complete a shared goal.
• 4. Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively.
• 5. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• 6. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of technology and equipment.
• 7. Knowledge of audio-visual, lighting and projection equipment.
