Journeyman Insulation Division Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the insulation division, including field crews and apprentices
• Estimate, quote, and secure insulation work for industrial, commercial, and oilfield clients
• Plan and schedule projects, crews, equipment, and materials across multiple job sites
• Monitor project budgets, productivity, and progress, and report on division performance
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, client specifications, and applicable codes
• Champion the company safety program, leading hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and incident follow-up
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate journey persons and apprentices, and support apprenticeship development
• Build and maintain client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
• Coordinate with other divisions on integrated project scopes (fabrication, coatings, modules)
• Oversee division purchasing of insulation materials, jacketing, and consumables

• Journeyman Heat and Frost Insulator certification required;
  Red Seal endorsement preferred
• 5+ years of trade experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Proven estimating and project management experience in industrial or commercial insulation
• Strong knowledge of insulation systems and metal jacketing/cladding applications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software an asset
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites
• Current safety tickets is an asset
