Service Technician for HVAC Systems

Join Preston Phipps as a Service Technician in our Toronto office, where your expertise in HVAC systems will drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. In this entrepreneurial role, you'll troubleshoot, commission, and provide ongoing maintenance.

As a Service Technician, you will work independently while supporting customers across Ontario. Your responsibility includes executing field start-ups and performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on HVAC-related equipment. A strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals is essential, as well as effective communication with contractors and customers during construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute field start-ups and troubleshoot HVAC systems

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance independently

• Communicate effectively with contractors and customers

• Conduct energy audits for systems optimization

• Document activities, maintaining inventory and job paperwork

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent in HVAC or controls

• 1-2 years of experience in HVAC commissioning

• Proficiency in BACnet and Tridium Niagara 4

• Basic computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Valid driver's license with no major traffic violations
