Position Overview:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician (electromechanic) plays a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of our production equipment. Theirexpertisein troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair is essential to guaranteeoptimalperformance and efficiency across our operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform production start-ups, calibrations, and quality checks to ensure smooth operations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Replace and adjust components such as bearings, belts, valves, and sensors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and document interventions in GAMO.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment andparticipatein improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot automated systems and recommend solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards,identify hazards, and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.

Qualifications:

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in electromechanics, automated systems, or industrial mechanics.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company.
• Strong technical knowledge in welding, assembly, troubleshooting automated systems, and interpreting electrical diagrams.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices, WHMIS regulations, and preventive maintenance programs.
