Role Description
This full-time General Laborer role is an on-site position located in North York, ON. The General Laborer will perform a variety of manual tasks such as loading and unloading materials, moving and organizing stock, and assisting with basic assembly or production activities as required. Daily responsibilities may include cleaning and maintaining work areas, handling tools and equipment safely, and supporting other team members to meet operational goals.
The role may involve lifting, standing for extended periods, and following work instructions from supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The General Laborer is expected to arrive on time, follow all safety procedures, and maintain a positive, cooperative attitude in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for prolonged periods while following safe work practices.
Basic understanding of general warehouse, construction, or industrial work environments, with willingness to learn new tasks quickly.
Reliability in attendance and timekeeping, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a respectful and professional approach to coworkers and supervisors.
Comfort using basic hand tools or equipment; prior experience in general labor or similar roles is an asset but not required.
Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
Eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time on-site in North York, ON; flexibility to work different shifts may be required.
