Join STS Technical Services as an Aircraft Engine Technician specializing in CFM
56-5 and CFM
56-7 engines. This Canada-based role performs vital on-wing maintenance to extend engine life while minimizing downtime.
As an Aircraft Engine Technician, your primary responsibilities include executing on-wing top case repairs and inspections for CFM
56 engines. You will perform critical maintenance tasks such as correcting HPC case wear, conducting seal land restorations, and blending minor damages. With exposure to advanced tasks, you may assist in borescope inspections to assess engine conditions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute HPC case wear corrections and repairs
• Perform liner repairs for thermal distress
• Blend-out minor nicks and damages on cases
• Conduct accurate seal land restorations
• Document all maintenance for compliance
Requirements:
• FAA Powerplant License required
• Hands-on experience with CFM
56 engines
• Strong knowledge of repair procedures
• Ability to work independently in field
• Proficiency in technical documents interpretation
