Elevate your career as a Field Service Technician with Shift Transit in Toronto. This contract position involves hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of bike-sharing infrastructure across the city.
Shift Transit oversees 60,000 mobility assets daily, including Bike Share Toronto. In this essential field role, you’ll collaborate with senior leadership to enhance service quality and resolve technical issues. Your responsibilities include maintaining bike docking points, conducting inspections, and managing communication with the team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace at all times
• Communicate effectively with Duty Manager and colleagues
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on Bike Share stations
• Document maintenance efforts using a software system
• Retrieve inoperative bicycles per directives
Requirements:
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues
• Valid driver's license and vehicle operation skills
• Strong collaboration skills in team settings
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
