Step into a crucial role as an On-Site Field Technician with Ericsson in Toronto, Ontario. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional network support through effective troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
In this role, you'll manage the execution of Field Services activities closely tied to Operations and Engineering. Your expertise will directly impact service availability and compliance with established SLAs and OHS requirements. Expect to work collaboratively with other technicians while maintaining comprehensive documentation for ongoing assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform rapid troubleshooting and equipment repairs
• Work alongside teams to ensure service continuity
• Schedule and implement preventive maintenance procedures
• Conduct acceptance tests on new installations and equipment
• Keep site status documentation up-to-date and accurate
Requirements:
• Two or more years of experience in telecommunications
• Degree, diploma, or certification in Electronics
• Understanding of TCP/IP, Optical Fibre, and SONET
• EHS/OHS certification is an asset
• Familiarity with network optimization practices
