The Opportunity
Certified Millwright – hourly wage $46.80.
What You’ll Do
Focus on minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and good troubleshooting techniques.
Prepare maintenance reports by making recommendations as necessary for improvements.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending education workshops.
Repair and replace pumps, valves, motors, etc.
Perform quality checks on all work performed.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment.
Maintain documentation as required by Atlantic Packaging.
Utilize documentation in CMMS.
Install new machines and equipment.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and other duties as assigned.
Inform production workers of routine mechanical preventive maintenance plans.
What You Bring
Must have a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License – 433A.
Red Seal Journeyman certification.
Level 3, 4 and 5 Apprentice.
Minimum 2‑3 years previous experience in a manufacturing industry.
Exposure to mechanical devices, pneumatic controls and welding/cutting.
All‑position welding preferred (stainless steel pipe, guard repairs, etc.).
