The Toronto Catholic District School Board is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join its Environment Support Services team for a one-year term. Your work will ensure the functionality of fire and security alarm systems, providing safety for students and staff. Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in conventional and addressable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and test fire alarm systems in various buildings
• Ensure compliance with National Fire Code and standards
• Maintain security alarm and PA systems
• Manage accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follow safety protocols with supplied tools
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience required
• CFAA registration mandatory
• Must possess a valid “G” driver’s license
• Knowledge of fire protection installations preferred
• Ability to read and understand schematics
Play a key role in enhancing safety at TCDSB through effective fire alarm management.
