In this position, you'll engage in routine inspections, minor repairs, and assist in complex diagnostics as you further develop your technical abilities. Ryder prioritizes employee satisfaction and offers a supportive work environment that fosters growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance on vehicles
• Identify and repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Service brakes, tires, and engines as needed
• Document maintenance records in the Shop Management System
• Communicate effectively with drivers on maintenance issues
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Two years of relevant work experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License CLASS A preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and use of diagnostic tools
• Possession of basic tools required
