The TTC is seeking up to 10 motivated Coach Technicians for its Bus Maintenance and Shops department. The role requires a 40-hour work week, ensuring the safety and reliability of both diesel and hybrid vehicles, while utilizing advanced technologies. You'll engage in tasks that make a significant impact on passenger safety and comfort, amidst a commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on diverse vehicle systems
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics as required
• Oversee emergency road services for city buses
• Collaborate on specialized vehicle assignments when necessary
• Promote adherence to accessibility and safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid 310T Coach Technician Certificate
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
• Clean Province of Ontario Class “G” driver’s license
• Proficient with mandatory technical training and tools
• Knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code
